This is where new restaurant Lucky Egg steps in. Located at the relatively new live music venue, The Brightside, Lucky Egg serves up free range, locally sourced fried chicken to keep those midnight munchies away.

Lucky Egg operates out of a repurposed shipping container which used to serve up toasted sandwiches to late night ravers. It now focuses on tasty Southern American chicken with an Asian twist to it.

You could just tell that the chicken used here is top quality. The dorito popcorn chicken was just as tasty as its ingredients suggest, with a super crispy corn chip coating.
The Karage chicken bites were a hit with the blue cheese sauce it came with. It was also a hit with various other sauces including Spiked Honey Soy, Kimchi Mayo and Chipotle Mayo. I loved the wings as well with their slightly spicy coating.

The burger was an absolute hit too with some very tasty Hellman's slaw included between the freshly toasted buns. The buttermilk coated chicken was really crispy on the outside, and very, very moreish.
I included the salad because it had some kimchi mixed through it which was nice and tangy, and a delicious way to break up what can otherwise be a boring set of leaves.

Lucky Egg is open until late from Wednesday to Saturday and also serves up lunches from Wednesday to Friday.
