One thing I've been eating quite a lot of lately is organic honey or jam on my morning toast, and in order to procure these sticky delights, I've been hanging out at a number of local markets recently, trying to taste my way through various fruit preserves.

This week on the Weekends program on 612 ABC in Brisbane, I will again be letting you know where to go this weekend for an abundance of fresh fruit and veg including Stanthorpe apples and Darling Downs potatoes.

Highlight markets for this weekend include:

Saturday 1 March, 2014
Burpengary Community Markets at Burpengary State School
Eumundi Markets at Eumundi
St Paschal's Markets in Wavell Heights
Wynnum Central Art, Craft, Vintage, Retro Markets at Wynnum

Sunday 2 March, 2014
Bardon Community Markets on Baroona Rd in Paddington
Chandler Markets on Old Cleveland Rd in Capalaba
Handmade Expo Markets at the Morayfield Leisure Centre
Ipswich Showplace Markets at the Ipswich Showgrounds
Jan Power's Farmers Markets at Mitchelton

UPDATE: What were some of the best markets on at the start of March?
Recap here!
